This film is a collaboration between theatre artists Gemma Abbott, Kate McCormick & the

U N F A M I L I A R S. It is a proposal for a larger scale site specific performance at Gosbecks Archaeological Park intended to take place in 2021.

The film is a contemporary conversation with Euripides Trojan Women. Local performers engage with the text as tinkered with by survivors of violence, Colchester's incredible heritage sites and current modes of making at a distance to bring a classic story back to life for this moment in 2020.
