I have always been obsessed with folklore and fairytale… the stories we were all told from our youngest days.

 

They never asked anything of me except to listen. And in telling them I could make myself relatable to others even when I weave a nest with them that only takes the smallest threads, even when I tell them in my own voice. 

 

So, here I am I trying learn how to fly between Thought and Memory. Taking a trip, as the crow flies, through mundane family history, collective grief, past and present folklore and silver linings. All whipped up with some observations about how getting out into nature has saved us when gathering inside has been off limits.

 

I am taking up some space, bringing with me the rich, immersive and deeply descriptive ways of presenting and telling that a Neurodivergent, daydreaming, creative Magpie spins into pieces of work.
