An exploration of loss and anger from the feminine perspective.

 

Inspired by slavic folklore I develop the character of the Rusalka as a medium for opening conversations about the lack of justice for female survivors of violence, the loss of self through trauma and the face of female anger.

This project is in it's infancy and she may also be evoked to consider the ecocide imposed by the anthropocene.
